the story so far:
Dr. Johnson (who wrote the first dictionary in english) once said, "sir, if a man gets tired of London, he is tired of life; for London has all that life can afford."
let me tell you, this man was correct. london is beautiful.
i live in an apartment with 4 other girls, its small and cozy, but not too crowded at all.
we live on a really cool looking street thats small and hidden from the main road, it almost looks like an alley.
its very "i live in a trendy warehouse"...except i live in a little flat with hardwood floors.

the neighborhood is also great. russell square park is right around the corner from my flat.
i have a pub that is literally 22 steps from my door (we've counted).
everyone is friendly here. the tube has comfy seats and is much cleaner than the L in chicago.
the city is clean and safe, my college (which is not in my neighborhood) is in a really awesome location and it has a bunch of cute restuarants and cafes around it.
basically, i love london.
