2011 in Review: Some Memes

Dec 31, 2011 15:41

Happy New Year's! Here's my year in meme review. (Note: I'm not sure why the formatting is wonky on some of the questions).

1. Which TV shows did you start watching in 2011? Body of Proof,  Last Man Standing, Vampire Diaries and Once Upon a Time (and I watched the entire series of Death Note).

2. Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011? Dancing with the Stars. It was angering me too much.

3. Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Nothing. In fact, I actually started watching House again.

4. Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012? Maybe The Finder, since Bones will be off the air anyways.

5. Which TV show impressed you least in 2011? Why? Doctor Who. Moffat and his nonsensical plots and lack of emotional connections between characters. (Except for RORY! OMG TEH RORY!)

6. Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve? I won't necessarily let go of the following two, but  I think they'll be cancelled: House and, unfortunately, Body of Proof, because of the stupid-ass ratings system the television producers have created.

7. Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why? I would've said Once Upon a Time, except for that LAST EPISODE! So I'll go with Vampire Diaries. I was kinda embarrassed that I wanted to watch the show, because I figured it was a campy teen vampire drama, so the twisty plots and strong characters pleasantly surprised me.

8. Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why? Bones and Castle. I love the characters too much, and, unlike a lot of people, I don't feel they've gotten crappy. Well, Castle's pushing it with this added drama crap. It's a comedy, people; let's return to its roots!
