Money, money, money
I would like to thank the generous sponsors of my grad school experience:
LSIGRP-you served me well this year
GAANN-you will serve me well next year and you make my research possible
Special Funds-you allow me to stay at a bit nicer hotel while I watch crickets do it and watch flies attacking the crickets doing it
Sigma Xi-you can fund a speaker or two, without speakers there would be no chirps, without chirps there would be no flies, without flies there would be no results, without results there would be no point, without a point there would be no more grad school for me, thus Sigma Xi is cool and important for funding the sound of crickets chirping, chirp chirp
NSF gave me honorable mention, so they like me a little, but so many others love me and my research
And then there were two...what will be the verdict on IEEA and grad fellowships?????
