By the very fact of his existence, Strelkov is breaking the plans of both the junta and of the Russian fifth column. This is precisely why such a miraculous union can be observed, where on both sides of the border there is active work on destroying Strelkov, who gathered simply a unique collection of enemies over several months, I think that few expect that the obscure retired colonel will suddenly turn into such a bright and hated target for powerful people in Ukraine and in Russia.
3. The meaning of such injections - preparing the public opinion for the possible "disappearance" of Strelkov, discrediting Strelkov as a military leader, preventing the reformatting of the militia of Novorossia into a full-fledged army. The enemy is interested precisely in the preservation of Makhovism, which in the case of removing Strelkov will inevitably worsen. Plus it must be understood that if the goal of such injections will openly demonstrate his well-being, then it is possible to try to pinpoint his current location both in the interests of intelligence and also for a possible "strike on headquarters".
This doesn't mean that they cannot wound or kill Strelkov. This can happen - people are mortal, especially during a war.
Because there is a way, the bullet can come into the chest and into the back. And the second case is actually more probable than the first.
