The militia and the security personnel exchanged prisoners in the Donetsk region.

Overall, 11 people were released. Among them there was an officer of the Ukrainian army.

Representatives of security structures of Ukraine and the militia fighters of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic exchanged prisoners. The meeting occurred in the East of the Donetsk region between the city of Torez and the high point Saur-Mogila. According the the data from the DPR headquarters, the Ukrainian army released seven prisoners, and the militia returned four people. Among them there was one officer.
Two of those who were transferred to Ukraine were wounded, one of them heavily. Up until the transfer to the Ukrainian side he was in a hospital. Mother came for the wounded serviceman. According to the woman's words, the militia provided all necessary help for her son.
- Nobody tortured him. In the DPR they performed a surgery on him: he suffered shrapnel wounds. I referred to the DPR and they helped me to meet my son, - told the mother of the released Ukrainian service member.
Earlier the vice-premier of the DPR Andrey Purgin said, that the principal agreement with the Ukrainian side about exchanging prisoners were achieved, and the first exchanges will have to start this week. According to his words, they will be conducted by the principle "all for all". On this week it is supposed to exchange "20 for 20" people.
