Cease-fire Misfired

English Translation:
Pavel Gubarev:
People from the neighboring Ukraine often ask: is there any chance that Ukraine remains united?
My answer: Nope, not a single chance!!!

As expected, after announcing a "cease-fire" as a part of Poroshenko's "clever plan" there is no peace. The ultimatum offered by the fascist junta was not accepted and the war continued, even if at lower intensivity.

1. The junta continued to try to narrow the hole in the former Ukrainian state border. The fighting, which is aimed at dislodging the militia from the border checkpoints that they occupy, continued for the 2nd day in a row.
The fighting near Gukovo and Izvarino was not very successful for the junta for now - losing several soldiers dead and a couple dozen wounded and also losing several armored vehicles - the junta failed to solve the problem of occupying the checkpoints for now. Meanwhile, the Russian territory was shot at, which resulted in several victims - one customs officer was wounded. Also, a civilian from the Rostov region of Russia was wounded + a bus with children was fired at. After shelling, the Ukrainian border officers in Izvarino gave up on their dirty business and the whole regiment of 80 men decided to relocate into Russia http://voicesevas.ru/news/yugo-vostok/1979-obstanovka-na-granice-ukrainskie-pogranichniki-prosyat-ubezhischa-v-rossii.html (in Russian). They could've turned their weapons against the fascists, but, oh well.

Russia, as usual, protested and moved the army bit more army towards the border with LPR.
2. The rebels did not waste any time and liquidated an important air defense object near the Avdeyevka village, which used to be one of the key nodes in the aerial monitoring system in Donbass. Recalling the systematic elimination of similar objects in the Luhansk People's Republic (four such objects were captured or destroyed in May), the junta's air defense now has at most fragmented capability.
3. The junta continued to regroup its forces near Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, pulling the reserves in for future attacks.

Translation: Judging from the artillery bombardment on Artyoma Street, which commenced at midnight, either Poroshenko doesn't give a crap about peace, or perhaps ukroartillerists (Ukrainian artillerists) don't give a crap about peace and Poroshenko himself.

4. The tank convoy that rolled towards Donetsk yesterday dissolved somewhere in the vicinity of the DPR's capital. It can be expected that armored vehicles will soon be actively applied against the junta.
5. After the rout of "Aidar" there is some sort of calm near Luhansk, the junta directed most of its efforts into the border regions, delaying further attempts to roll into Luhansk. Big losses, it appears, had a sobering effect on the junta. Here http://www.e-news.su/in-ukraine/14973-uroven-poter-hunty.html (in Russian) there is an interesting comment on the question of the junta's losses.
It is worth noting that Bolotov's executive order declared SBU (Ukrainian intelligence agency) illegal on the LPR territory.

Militia of Stanitsa Luhanskaya, for which there was major fighting recently.

6. In the vicinity of the Saur Mogila there is some sort of positional front line, which the junta won't be able to breach without large-scale use of artillery. Local reports suggest that the artillery is moving there, so another assault can be expected in the next few days, following a preliminary bombardment by the artillery.
7. Miners finally woke up and started to form a special miner division - they managed to scrape up to 700 volunteers over the day. In retaliation, "strangers" fired at the bus with miners yesterday -  1 dead, 6 wounded. The full-fledged DPR army continued to form itself - the pledge and the singular authority principle were approved, all military groups must report to Strelkov.
8. Owing to the higher numbers of armored vehicles at their disposal, the rebel needs for petroleum products and spare parts increased substantially. Following repairs, several additional armored vehicles will enter service.
9. Strelkov's news for 20 June:
Against the expectations, our intelligence discovered that the bulk of enemy forces retreated from the village of Krivaya Luka back to the town of Kirovsk. The intelligence unit of the Lisichansk battalion swept the vicinity of yesterday's battle. In particular, an enemy's IFV that we hit yesterday was found and towed to be repaired in Lisichansk.
To avoid possible break-outs of heavy armor against the town of Seversk, the bridge on the Seversky Donets river in the village of Zakotnoe was blown up. The bridge in the village of Krivaya Luka is now again under the militia control.
Currently, the Krasnyi-Liman regiment is re-formed in order to restore its positions. In the vicinity of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk there were minor firefights, the enemy continued shelling Semenovka as well as mining and fortifying its own positions around the cities.
Combat vehicles contined to move near Donetsk toward the city and toward the border with the Rostov region of Russia.
During the first half of the day, Ukrainian aviation patrolled the area of Gorlovka, looking for ground targets. There were no reports of airstrikes.
