Muzhenko Terminalny must go!

The consequences of the Debalcevo cauldron ended up being long-term for the AFU. Besides the losses, the quality of military leadership from the AFU General Staff and Sector C HQs made a sad impression on the Ukrainian society and army officers. Furthermore, besides statements for the press where Poroshenko and Muzhenko are cursed for the "well-organized retreat", some officers even decided to write an open letter with the demand of the resignation of the incompetent head of the General Staff. Meanwhile, the letter describes the miscalculations of the enemy command in detail and gives a timeline of how the Debalcevo bridgehead turned into the Debalcevo cauldron. Actually, as I wrote several times, one of the reasons for the defeat of the AFU in the battle for Debalcevo was the incompetence of its command, in comments they were writing to me how I was wrong and how the reasons were different. Well, now you can read the words of those who had the ability to witness the level of operational planning by the General Staff of Ukraine in practice. And even the commander of the 128th brigade, who effectively saved those who could still be saved (jokes aside, despite the fact that he is an enemy, he made the only possible right choice and saved his subordinates), couldn't remain silent despite the award, which he received personally from Poroshenko.

[note from the translator: I'm not going to translate the letter - a combination of OCR and automated translation should help you understand what's going on. It lists various incidents of neglect and incompetence in the organization of the defense in the Debalcevo bridgehead. If somebody dares to translate the letter, then please post the translation in the comments or send it to me by a private message or email. The letter does have historical value. In particular, it says that the 25th separate motorized infantry battalion had to march under enemy fire on foot for 25km to get out of the Debalcevo pocket because it lost all of its vehicles. If such a disgraceful march indeed happened, then it may be called "The Debalcevo mile", by the analogy with the Mogadishu mile.]

PS. From the point of view of the future war, if Muzhenko stays and continues to lead just as "efficiently", it will be certainly more advantageous for us.

PS2. SBU already managed to announce that http://censor.net.ua/news/328380/v_sbu_zayavlyayut_chto_k_sozdaniyu_obrascheniya_ofitserov_s_kritikoyi_rukovodstva_genshtaba_vsu_mogut, (in Russian) all of this is just an FSB plot, and the officers wrote nothing. However, even the junta fans don't believe this too much.

Even if this is the FSB - then it looks like they are using reliable information for their purposes.
Otherwise they could say that 95% AFU soldiers who spoke in the interviews are the Kremlin's agents.
Instead of the genuine attempts to fix the screwups and finally punish the corrupt generals there is another stage of the "witch hunt".
Aren't you ashamed to drop so low, SBU? Maybe you will be neutralizing smuggled vodka instead of the police, because the police does it now?
I don't know if this is a hoax or not - but nobody forgot the surrender of the airport, Ilovaysk, Zelenopolye, Debalcevo, the paratroopers who burned alive in the IL - and people want the guilty to be punished!
And in the end you'll force the people to take justice in their own hands!
So, Lubok (n.b. most likely this is a reference to Markian Lubkivsky, the vice-head of the SBU) you must finally handcuff Pete's poodle Muzhenko?

I'm not a specialist, maybe this is fake! And I cannot analyze military actions. But damnit - there is IL-86, Sapun mt., Ilovaysk, and finally Debalcevo! And these facts are in your face. And no bastard was punished, nobody paid for blatant lying! So, everything was OK, right? And even if this appeal is a hoax - there are TV and media statements by the combat officers and soldiers. Muzhenko et al. need to go if only because there is no longer trust in the General Staff. How can people put their lives if they are almost always sure that they are being betrayed?

"...by the way, you mentioned Artyomovsk - I'm from there. The Ukrainian authorities and army are here for about six months now, but there are no measures directed to the defense of the city. There are only the checkpoints at the exits from the city, where the military and police screw around at times..." Is this true or not - I cannot judge. But another thing is important: Artyomovsk is next after Debalcevo. Who is responsible for its defense and what kind of responsibility is there…? The General Staff (anonymous) or Muzhenko in particular, - doesn't matter. In the case of "failures" on this direction the system will react just like in Debalcevo: a long chain of disconnected explanations, and in the end by dispersal of responsibility. This is a classic corruption model, where every corrupt official says that there are corrupt officials around, yes, but he is not corrupt, and it is very hard for him to fight corruption. And each of them separately says this, which makes for an ideal corruption mechanism when combined with the others.

There is a procedure of conducting officer meetings. It is written out in the corresponding directive. It also lists what kind of questions such a meeting may consider. It cannot demand anyone's resignation. The unit commander signs the decision of a meeting. The Hero of Ukraine won't sign it - this is clear. Petya "bought" this commander, by giving him such a rank. He will remain silent about the tragedy in Debalcevo and about Muzhenko's stupidity. All other officers will also stay silent - they have to serve. So no other reaction can be expected from these commanders. One thing is clear: the faggot Muzhenko's actions, which led to the loss of the airport and Debalcevo and to large losses, are being actively discussed in these units. I am sure that the losses are downplayed. But this cannot go on forever.
