Today the SBU published a video recording on which a confession by an unrecognized person is shown who allegedly organized the terror act in Kharkov on February 22nd.

Absent a proper version with English subtitles, the only option here for people who cannot understand spoken or written Russian is the so-called "drunken sailor option" - the machine translation of the machine-generated Russian transcript, which is available through the Settings Gear in the lower left corner => Subtitles/CC => Translate Captions option in the Youtube window. If you happen to have a link to a properly translated version of this video, then please send it to me or post it in the comments.
On the background of prior nonsense, when the video of an apprehension in the twilight was captured, even though just a few hours had passed after the explosion and it was still bright, this time the SBU committed a number of new mistakes.
First, the confessions are made on camera where a person is monotonously reading the text. The face of the performer is hidden. What's the point of making a video announcement then?
The second mishap is the description of the terror act itself. The person on the video says that he used the MON-100 mine for it. This sounds absolutely absurd, because if this directed explosion munition was actually used, then the number of the dead would be 40 and not 4.
I remind you that the MON-100 mine is armed with 2kg of TNT with 400 sub-projectiles. MON-100 provides for an effective casualty radius of more than a 100 meters.
The effect of detonating MON-100 we could see in the case of the tragedy at Volnovakha, where the junta set up its false flag. There the victims of the terror act were 12 bus passengers and about 20 more were wounded. Despite the fact that the explosion happened on the territory under the junta control and it tried to present it as a hit of the Grad system, on a photo a characteristic cylindrical sub-projectile was noted, which is what MON-100 is armed with.
In this case an absolutely uncharacteristic effect from blowing up such a major explosive device is accompanied by absolute lack of any material evidence from the crime site.
And in addition, the words about how he started to negotiate about the reward for the accomplished act after the act are especially amusing.
In other words, we see yet another hastily arranged hoax, which cannot withstand any objective criticism. This once again confirms the degradation of the Ukrainian special services, which are able to operate only under dense american control.
Although, just like in the case of Volnovakha, the expected effect was achieved in the end. The ATO was extended to the Kharkov region, which led to the increase of the credentials and the abilities of the military. Only on the example of the very same Volnovakha we can see that the pursuit of the short-term effect may lead to a serious worsening of long-term positions. The war in Donbass also started by imposing the ATO regime, only later the shots started to be fired, the shells started to explode and the full-scale military action began.
Now Kharkov is one of the weak points for the junta. It is getting increasingly harder to rely on the loyal junta supporters. The crisis, the Hryvna fall is negating all of the regime fairy-tales about the bright future. And an operation on terrorizing the population, like it was done in Odessa on May 2nd, may lead to a social upheaval. Kharkov ain't Odessa, at least due to its geographical proximity to the RF. So, this is why a terror act was needed in order to preventively establish effectively a martial law and to untie the hands of the special services and punitive organs.

PS. I would only like to clarify that at Volnovakha there was likely an OZM-72 mine, although it couldn't be reliably determined which mine exploded there - was it OZM-72 or it was MON-50/100.
