"A Military Council of the field commanders of the DPR and the LPR is planned to happen before the end of the month. The question of creating the Ministry of Defense of Novorossia has to be resolved in this council.
The idea is supported by 90% of field commanders of the LPR and a significant part of the field commanders of the DPR - they stand for creating the Ministry of Defense of Novorossia, for a united Novorossia, and not for separate DPR and LPR. The idea is also supported by the Cossacks.
It is absolutely obvious that the leadership of the DPR and the LPR stands against creating the united Army of Novorossia.
The majority of field commanders intend to go to the end for the idea of Novorossia as a state.

PS. This is already more substantial that the murky story with "general" Korsun. I wait for the list of participants and the passed decisions with interest, if such a council will actually gather. They are telling stories about it since July, but the process of forming a united army didn't go beyond Strelkov's military council and the coordination headquarters in Krasnodon.

I heard about this idea from the so-called general Korsun, who is currently sitting in my basement :D Well, perhaps the Cossacks and the effectively non-existing Ministry of Defense of the LPR actually supports it. I know nothing about the DPR commanders that support such an idea at least on the level of a battalion commander.
Judging from this statement and the initial announcement, the initiative for such a council apparently originates from the LPR.
