people keep saying, if you depend on others for your happiness, you will never be happy. well, that's nice & all, but it didn't really mean anything to me... i mean isnt that the purpose of being with other people in the first place, share joy and so forth? i dunno, it all seemed like a hallmark greeting card or a proverb, not an actual guideline.
but now.......... what i do know is that life is a solo ride, and i finally understood that you can't "freeload on someone else's ticket", sounds weird to say, even a little scary to accept that i do live my life alone, but it's true, you are responsible for your own happiness, you really are... you know?
so when are you (as in me!) going to take full responsability for your own happiness? for my own life???
