A Hockey Star IS Born
Tonight was valkyri first ever Ice hockey game.
She played AWESOME, I was so proud of her. She played on the second line as a forward (right winger) she played her position well. I was impressed really. didn't think she would do that good for her first time as a forward. So, I told her I wanted to see at least a goal tonight out of her, she came close with a back hand but didn't score.
I was the hockey parent in the stands, you know the one yelling and screaming saying NO dont do that.The only thing I had to tell her to do was to skate with one hand on the stick. She was trying to get speed with two hands on the stick it was slowing her down. So, on the way home gave her that good ole hockey talk.
To my Valkie you played AWESOME love, my hockey star is born..
