[for Sansa and Dale]

Now that he and Sansa were married, there was only one other piece of business that needed to be seen to in order to make their family complete, and that was Eddara's adoption. They could have easily included this in the wedding ceremony itself, but it was decided to keep the two separate in order to give them their own importance. So after a few days alone together, Sansa and Caspian retrieved Eddara from the care of her uncle Moril (who, Caspian was gratified to see, was a far better person than his own uncle) and went to the compound to keep their appointment with Dale Cooper.

Eddara insisted on taking her little wooden sheep from her set of farm animals with her, and as they walked to the compound she took turns poking Caspian in the arm with it and making meow, meow sounds. "No, sweetheart, the sheep says baaa," said Caspian, trying not to laugh at her as he carried her.

"Meow," said Eddara, and tried to stuff the sheep in his ear.
