Caspian was ecstatic about the prospect of the upcoming trip round the island. In between putting the finishing touches on his house and completing Eddara's birthday presents, he spent a great deal of time making sure the Dawn Treader was in top shape and equipped with all that she needed. The crew had gone out for a few short runs of a few hours each as a training exercise, for most of the crew had no experience with seafaring and needed even the most basic of instruction. They were all a hardworking group, however, and Caspian was quite pleased.
At the moment, Caspian was inspecting the water casks for leaks or damage, and putting them on the dock to be moved up to the spring near Summerfell for cleaning and filling. Only one seemed to need any sort of repair, and Caspian was setting that one aside to mend later when he saw Edmund approaching the dock. Caspian called out his friend's name and waved, glad as ever to see him.
