First Submission
Today I did it. I send out a short story to a e-zine called The Cafe Irreal. I'm really hoping that it will be accepted because right now it's not about the money but getting out there. I send them out a story called "For the Love of Corsets" because I was going to send them another story called "Childhood Roots" but it went against their submission guidelines. It was too long.
That doesn't matter though because I like "For the Love of Corsets" a lot more then "Childhood Roots".
Besides that I haven't been up too much at all. Last night Mandi and I went over to Danielle's house and hung out with Ashley. They are really cool people and I feel like I can get along with them.
Mandi is sick and I'm getting a cold but this morning I went to Shopper's to buy Mandi some medicine. It was on sale so hooray for me! Right now Mandi is sleeping.
I think I'm going to read a little more of "Awaken the Giant Within" by Tony Robbin's. Seriously, this book is making me do things that I've never done before. Like sending in a submission and being happy with my work. If anyone is having problems and wants to make a life that they would love then this is the book to go with.
