Egg and drive by salute
I came home today to discover that one of my hens laid her very first egg! I don't know which one did it since they were all in the coop together, but it is a beautiful brown egg.
As I was driving down 82nd Avenue tonight the person in the car next to me called out. I looked over to see a man who crossed his arms as soon as we made eye contact. It made me SO. FREAKIN. HAPPY!!!!!!! to be get the Lucumi nod while driving down the road. I immediately called my godsis evamoon to share the joy of some stranger recognizing me for what I am while driving down the road. How aware do you have to be for that? Pretty darn aware!!!! It made me feel really good.
