Quail
Today I became the proud caretaker of three quail!!! I am so excited. After looking online I think they are Coturnix Quail with two of them being boys and then my white one I think is a girl. They are so sweet which is apparently a trait of Coturnix. I had my hand in the cage for awhile this afternoon and Mitzy (the white one) was cuddled up against my hand and all of them enjoyed eating straight out of my palm. What a different experience from when I had parakeets and finches. It reminds me of the wild bird I hand raised.
