I never realized how many people kept their eyes during the prayer until this morning at seminary. A boy had water in his shoes, and when he moved it squeaked like a cat. It makes me remember how when I was little my sister and I would mutually accuse each other of the hypocritical cry, "She had her eyes open during the prayer! She had her eyes open!" Good memory.

Believe it or not...but I was defiant today. We had a fiesta in Spanish class today so I was wearing the sombrero around...because I think stuff like that is fun. I asked for an assignment where I could go into the hall with it on. Our principal was like, "Seniorita! Take off your hat!" I told him, "It's not a hat...it's a sombrero." Then I walked off as he was shouting out requests for me to take the hat off. I took it off finally, and stuck it back on my head as soon as I was in the stair well so that he could see me. I'm sorry...but we have gay people making out in the commons..and he is worrying about Autumn wearing a sombrero? Good grief.

During our fiesta, one of my friends brought this sauce called Molé...needless to say it's brown and kind of lumpy. He put in the microwave, and we didn't think about it until everything started smelling like smoke. I thought it smelled bad regularly...but it smells horribly when it's burned. It turned into a solid...disturbing.

I got a lot of hugs today! Warm fuzzies.
