Pulling the wings off of gliders at the end of the season today. We only insure the gliders from April or May through October. One guy with his own new fiberglass beauty did put the wings on and take it up for an hour or so after the morning of work.
It was a cold and windy morning of labor. I was glad for my jacket, gloves and ear warmers as it only made it up to 45 F. About half of the group showed up, so we were able to put three gliders to bed. No more flying till next spring.
