The computer saga part..... 4? 5? 20?
Me and computers... we have some history going on now...
First I thought it was kind of funny... then the range of incidents became kind of disconcerting, now it's just a downright fact of life that me and technology don't get along very well.
I splashed water on my laptop accidentally last night and it instantly turned itself off ; ;
I whipped the power cord out within seconds, and then pulled the battery and flipped it upside down. Mopped up what water I could get at with a paper towel, and now it's just sitting upside waiting for fate to decide its verdict.
They say wait for 24 to 48 hours before turning it on, but I don't even want to touch it for another four days.
I hope it's ok.... I really really really really hope and pray that it's ok. Class is starting in a week and well, I need my laptop for that stuff, and I have nowhere near enough money to buy a new computer if worse comes to worse.
At least I have a techy friend back home I could call up 8c.... he has a new baby daughter I've been wanting to see anyway XD
But other than that, I'm back in Colorado right now and the trip has been AMAZING so far... I've eaten delicious mexican food, rode a motorcycle on a freeway, rode a mini dirt bike barefoot up and down the street, made s'more, slept in a tent in the backyard, abandoned the tent at 3am due to wind nearly taking it down, had a 6 yr old draw all over my arms with my drawing pens, become newly adopted mom to said 6 yr old (even though I'm technically her step-aunt XD), and today I'm grabbing my sister for some one on one time away from the little chilluns. So it's been awesome... if my computer ever gets fixed I will have SO MANY pictures and videos for you guys.
