you know, I sat down to write this afternoon and was totally a blank.

The best things just come to you, like when you're walking about, not thinking about what to write. Just take a walk or something, relax and I'm sure something will come to you.

(sorry I can't suggest much, I'm pretty uninspired myself.)

Thank you for this. You're so sweet, you always seem to read my journal entries, although I personally think they're boring ( ... )

That's the trouble with inspiration, it can come at the most awkward times. I usually get ideas for photographs when I'm trying to get to sleep or if I don't have my camera anywhere nearby, or the batteries run low. It can be rather frustrating at times.

I seem to be better at expressing myself when I write rather than through speaking. I talk an awful lot, but I never say anything of great importance, or indeed what I mean :[ it's an odd state of affairs.

Try writing about something most people don't think about. Like meeting a homeless person and learning his/her's history.

To answer your deleted comment, SP2 hasn't been kind to less than 10% of people who've upgraded it. I would probably wait until summer and then give it a shot if you're leery about it now. Should be OK by then.

I've been thinking about stuff like that. My history book (which I've actually been reading, hah!) has given me some ideas, but not too many good ones yet. Although, I'm lucky enough not to have to worry about this too much, since the deadline for turning in the application has passed.

See, I don't even know if SP2 has been kind to me or not. People keep telling me "Don't install it!" so I uninstalled it. Then someone said "You should install it!" And well, I need to stop giving in so easily to peer pressure.

I would call that unlucky in missing the deadline...

Some people are real alarmists about Microsoft. They're the same one that insist that Windows XP crashes as often as 98 did. Untrue. If you had to uninstall it after people told you the sky was falling, you should've ignored them if your computer was already working just fine with SP2 installed. I'd install it and just keep updating XP as new ones come in. It seems you had it running just fine and people came in and jumped on your bed and said the bed would break...

Well, it happens. :\

Yes, I suppose I am being one of those kinds of people that will jump off a cliff if someone else does it...
