Saywut? Yeah that's right. It's time to Role Play. Why? No, no, why not?
A role-play is a form of written work in which two or more persons take on the personality of a fictional character, by writing from their perspective. Each section (comment) should be between 100-500 words, and contain some material to which the next person can have their character reply to. By doing this on a back and forth basis, you create a story.
BY REPLYING TO THE MAIN POST you are replying to the words and actions of the character present in the post itself. This must be done before anyone else can participate. After an interaction has been started between the first character and a second, other people may jump in, or start their own unrelated threads for an entirely new character to reply to.
'Unrelated' threads must still fit into the plot of the post. For instance, while a character doesn't have to be directly interacting with the other characters currently present within the story, they must still be in the same setting, during the same time period, etc.
As the rating level increases within the threads, the rating label at the top of this post will be edited to correspond. With that being said, use your common sense, and don't enter a thread which is rated too high for you to be comfortable in, as it likely means that porntastic situations have occured, because yes; that is allowed. However, I'd like to discourage the use of any heavy sexual kinks, outside of the ones that are generally accepted and often used within this fandom.
As this is a slash community, I'd like to encourage you to actually, you know slash. M/M, F/F, M/F and threesome/moresome situations will be accepted, however; please remember that this is a rare pair community. Since multi-thread scenes (such as this) are hard to monitor and organize at all times, we're not going to smite you if a common OTP gets a little too friendly in here (but please be aware that this is still highly discouraged). With that being said, at no point will Sam/Dean be allowed. If we see this developing at any point, we will delete the thread in which it is taking place. However, we are not an anti-Wincest community, meaning that if it helps your plot along to mention Sam/Dean, or if you happen to use a Sam/Dean icon while posting, no one's going to get hurt.
Anyone can participate, and all characters are fair game. However, Characters are claimed on a first come, first serve basis, meaning that if someone else has posted as a certain character before you, that character is theirs, and no one else may use that character within this thread.
While pairings are something that we will all have to work together to keep running, please don't become forceful with any certain pairing or event. Just because you OTP Bela/Bobby, does not mean that you can assume the role of Bela solely to play out a slash relationship with the person who has chosen to play Bobby. If you are rejected by them, you've been rejected. In the words of Ricky J, ya'll; no means no. You may want to send a private message to other players prior to posting in reply to them, if you are unsure about their preferences.
Don't worry, RP is a confusing thing! However, please remember that we're all here to have fun, and a stray post or broken rule isn't going to start an apocalypse. If you'd like anything cleared up, feel free to send me (casiedearestfic) a personal message at any time, or reply to this post below.
