I have a dilemma. I went to looka t a room near the Arches. It is £290 all inclusive, a 5 minute walk away from my bus stop, and the landlord has no objection to guinea pigs.
On the downside, there is no way I could fit all of my things into it. There is a single bed which is new and has to stay, and I could maybe fit the computer, pigs and two or three bookcases. There is no communal area, a small kitchen and no bath.
It is no-where near perfect, but it *could* be liveable, and for that little rent I could afford to put some books and furniture into storage.
Do I jump at this opportunity, or wait and see, knowing that very few house shares are likely to be able to deal with my vast quantities of stuff...
