Long Weekend
I went up to Bradford for the weekend to go Goth spotting. When everyone moved out of Swinton Place Chris and Erica kindly offered me to stay at theirs for Infest as I normally stayed with Robin. We made it out on the Friday night, but Infest isn't as much fun without the music (we couldn't afford the actual tickets :o( )
Robin and I visited Cat in York on Sat and went to the Jorvik, I've not been since I was about 10, and they have inmproved the tech a bit! One of the guys came up to me and started talking about his past life as a Roman Officer which was a bit strange though.
On the way back on Monday they cancelled my train from Leeds with no reason, which had me worried, especially when the opinion of the information desk was 'get the next train to Sheffield, you should be able to catch something from there'! It turned out at sheffield that the train from Glasgow was running late, so I managed to catch it there instead of in Birmingham. However, the train behind us was the one I should have caught from Leeds, it hadn't been cancelled, they just decided to not stop at Leeds or Wakefield, to catch up the delay... I was lucky, but it really messed up some people connections, and they were having a right old time finding out how to complain.
