Just wanted to let this out: I've seen several of my icons floating around LJ, used by people who haven't commented my posts or credited. I can't see myself doing anything about it, because I am (a) lazy, and (b) terrified of confrontation. And besides, I feel ridiculously honoured that more people than I thought have liked my icons and are using them. But I'm also a little outraged at the lack of acknowledgement. Petty, perhaps. But it's there.
On a different note, having a friend who's supporting Germany makes this final so much more nerve-wracking than it needs to be. Said friend also supports Chelsea and gave me no peace after the CL semi's this year. I have already received several texts and Facebook comments reiterating her desire to see my beloved Spaniards die a horrible football death. I didn't think it was possible for me to want a Spanish win any more desperately, but she's proven me wrong.
more of this, please. (minus the hideous yellow kit)
Eckh. Rant over.

"Oh shit - our tea!" Fernando disappeared to his kitchen and bustled back with two cups. Giving one to Daniel, he put his own to his lips.
"It's cold," he whined, looking childishly and adorably sad.
Daniel laughed at his lover's pout. He himself made a face after taking a sip. "Eurgh," he muttered, bemused.
"I'm such an idiot."
Daniel simply smiled back.
"You're meant to say, 'No, you're not'!"
Daniel smirked. "I thought we were all about honesty?"
The pout quickly reappeared on Fernando's face.
The stillness of the air was suddenly punctured by Daniel's phone ringing. It was his girlfriend, wanting to know where he was. Daniel responded in rapid Danish, but Fernando managed to pick up the words "training" and "Melwood".
Fernando raised his eyebrows once Daniel had hung up. "I thought we were all about honesty?"
Not looking his lover in the eyes, Daniel forced a smile, and the two of them sipped their cold tea in silence.
