LOL, I am incapable of functioning without bullet points when reading such wonderful fiction, honestly. And even with the bullet points, I'm not entirely sure I managed a lot of coherency and sense. But if you enjoyed reading my comment, then all is well! :D Thank you for writing such an amazing fic, I've enjoyed every single minute I've spent reading this so far, and also the tons of minutes I spent thinking about it and marvelling at its awesomeness. :)

Humour is so important in stories like this, and the way you did it is so clever and witty and comes in exactly the perfect dosage. My compliments!

I think Miguel is such a promising character for fanfic in general but far too few people are actually willing to explore him and give him some depth, and I think that's such a shame. So thanks for giving him a bigger role here! I'm so looking forward to reading what will happen to him in the last chapter, you have no idea! :D

It's understandable that there are things Guti doesn't want to tell Raúl, just like I assume there are things Raúl would not want to tell Guti, but I really do hope that these secrets won't get in the way of their relationship. Honestly, I don't think I've ever loved this pairing as much as I love it now, after having read those 9 parts of your fic. :)

Ah, I remember that bit about Iker finding his packed suitcases in front of Becks' door now! *facepalm* How could I have forgotten? Of course, this new old fact makes me wonder now whether Becks didn't pack the gun on purpose... Ah, the possibilities! (I keep saying that, right?)

LOL, do steal that line all you want! :D It just popped into my head somehow and seemed to cover everything I wanted to say.

I know what you mean about those ideas. The initial idea is one of the many reasons why I can't write murder mysteries - every time I come up with something, I remember a novel I've read that included this bit, and before I can continue plotting, my brain is focusing on the action in that novel and my initial idea is discarded. Somehow I feel everything's been done already, which is not really encouraging. ;)

*waits anxiously for the grand finale*

You were perfectly coherent!

I wonder why not many people have written about Miguel. I know the reason why I haven't is because I hardly know anything about him, having seen him play only a few times. Is he popular among Real Madrid fans?

Ahhhh, Raúl and Guti and their strained relationship. I'm not going to say anything. But do you really think that they'll ever be able to be open enough with each other to truly have a honest relationship with each other?

I may just have to steal that line. I'll obviously credit you. ;)

I think everything has been done already, what with Christie and things like Midsomer Murders and all those other detective series. But I suppose what's great about incorporating the genre with football slash is that it's very much relationship-focused - the whole 'slash' aspect become quite (unusually) important.

Endless ♥ for you.

Miguel is definitely rather popular and people keep posting about him even though he's not with Real Madrid anymore. (Though one could argue that he hasn't left Madrid, and that Getafe has been more or less a "parking space" for Real Madrid's young talents for years, see de la Red, Granero, Soldado, Parejo, etc.)

But do you really think that they'll ever be able to be open enough with each other to truly have a honest relationship with each other?
A honest relationship? Maybe not. Though having secrets is what makes a lot of relationships successful, right? XDD (I can't help it, I just like the thought of these two together so much. ;))

Good point! :D
