Memory Lane, etc.
Jessica thought it would be a great idea to post our Jr. year Ring Dance video online. For the past week, she's been sitting in front of her tv with a camcorder, recording what's on the screen and then uploading it to youtube. She's doing this in 2-3 minute snippets. Then she transfers it over to facebook. I'm observing an awful lot of spangly rhinestone dresses and big hair. Travis and Sean do the worm. Students are dancing the friggin' electric slide(!) with teachers. It's been really fun watching it and I now feel the need to dig my copy out from the attic and get a better look. Oddly enough, I just got rid of my dress last month.
Suddenly (gee I wonder why) everyone started loading pictures from middle/high school. It's really fun to see how much we've all changed, and how much we've stayed the same.
Speaking of Facebook, is anyone using the pieces of flair application? Holy crap they have Firefly flair! And Stargate(s) Flair! I'm so addicted. It reminds me of all the little buttons and pins I used to have all over my backpack in high school. And no, I'm not getting paid to shill an app. :::Shifty eyes:::
And in more serious news, I am now officially 30. I didn't feel old until Jessica started posting 13 year old videos online.
What could top the ring dance video? Ahhh, the one my brother made at King's Dominion where he does the hammer dance to Can't Touch This. He's wearing a velor shirt. His hair is spiked and he has a rat tail. He'd kill me if he knew I shared this info with anyone. . .if only I could upload it to youtube!
