A quick introduction, brief not only because my attention is elsewhere right now, but because there is not a whole lot to know about me. I will be honestly surprised if I gain a single reader with this thing, because the life I lead is rather mundane at best. I am 21 years old, and I have attended three different colleges and am currently considering a fourth. I'm not a very good student, nor am I particularly outgoing or creative. My typical day involves class and work, and then either watching TV shows on Netflix or attempting to draw. Now I will post a few pictures of some of my pets, not including my cat. <3
Sunshine
Sunshine is a female sulfur-crested Cockatoo. She's about ten years old now, and was given to me by my grandmother after she fell in love with me. She's a bit shy, but very sweet and cuddly. She's enjoying a nut in this photo, for being so patient in front of the camera, which usually freaks her out.
Then again, my sister wearing her glasses freaks her out, so that isn't saying much.
Luna
This is one of my pair of female sister rats, the bolder of the two. She is very curious and outgoing, and rather bossy, and she often steals treats away from her sister. She originally belonged to my sister, while the other one, Artemis, was mine. My sister is terribly allergic, but loves the girls all the same. Rats make the best pets ever. Smart, cute, intelligent.
Izaya and Shizuo
These are not actually mine, but I love them as if they were! Such cuties. They're still babies, and are very energetic and wiggle around a lot and thus are kind of hard to actually hold. They may have male names, but they are, in fact, sisters. They have also only just recently joined our family, so I have yet to fully discover anything about them other than their love of the running wheel and pumpkin seeds.
Harley
This is our devious but heart-warming Harley. He is a mutt who came to us through an older woman who could no longer keep him. He starts fights with our other dogs because he's so pushy and headstrong, but he's very energetic and loves attention. A bratty little fellow indeed!
Well, that's it for pet introductions- the others will come next post, which will hopefully be soon. I give up on things a lot, because I'm pretty easily bored. We'll see how it goes!
