Grrrrrr
I drove into a pheasant this afternoon. Stupid suicidal bird. Sadly, driving around the rural fastnesses I work in, there are a lot of pheasants around at this time of year. They're in season you see. People pay vast sums of money to shoot them. Of course you can run them over for free, but it's best not to. They can *grits teeth* like the one I hit this afternoon, damage your car. I was doing around 60 and it made a hell of thump as I hit it. I didn't have a chance to swerve otherwise I would have done. I thought for a moment I'd damaged the headlights, but it hit further down. and broke the plastic thingy that protects the radiator grill. Bugger.
