Golden Light

It was the most incredibly beautiful autumn day today. the trees are really turning, and all along the Tweed are varying shades of russet, brown, flame orange and yellow, interspersed with red-berry covered rowan trees. There was an almost cloudless blue sky, and the light had that wonderful golden quality as I drove home. I was kicking myself that I hadn't brought my camera with me because I bet it'll be cloudy tomorrow and it'll rain, and the trees only last like this for a few days, a week at most.

The wind farm on Soutra looked beautiful - it didn't seem windy at all, and yet there was enough movement in the air to keep the turbines lazily turning. They look so majestic - almost hypnotic, and far more attractive in the landscape than pylons.
