Roma.

SO finally home from studying abroad… after my time in Rome I have learned how much I love to travel and see what is in the world. I mean I never thought back in high school or graduation in 2004 I would see Rome, other places in Italy, Dublin, and Paris. I have found traveling long trips on the bus or plane have given me a lot of time to think and really sort out thoughts in my head. I have to say studying abroad is the best experience I have ever had.
I mean sure some bad moments… like losing 170 euro in a ATM and not getting it back, becoming incredibly broke within 3 months, and missing friends and family….
But thank you tiny baby Jesus, I will be home to see my friends and family over Christmas,
Studying in Rome was so inspiring, walking down the streets and seeing all of the beautiful fountains, architecture, history of the ruins. It gave another perspective to what this world offers. I mean yes… some of the streets smelled like pee… and my shoes got really dirty walking around, and there are mass amounts of graphitti on some buildings…. But after the first two weeks I learned to look pass that and notice everything beautiful.

I already miss it…. it feels so far away, but it will be a experience i always remember,

But call me because im home and want to see everyone!

Happy birthday ADGE!

love,
casey lea
