Softball...

Well today we had our first home softball game. We played against Madison County. The first 2 innings were really good, it was a 0-0 ball game. The 3rd inning came and Hannah starts missing her locations and her balls are going kind of crazy and I start haveing a hard time trying to catch them. There was a runner at 3rd and a girl hit the ball and got out at first, well the runner at 3rd was coming home so the first basemen Bracey threw the ball home and it fell out of my glove and it was between me and the girl that slid in home, she didn't have any part of her body on the plate at that time. Well the Umpire couldn't see the see if I had the ball or not so I picked it up and held it against the girl, right then she reached over and taged home and the umpire called her safe when she wasn't. So that really pissed me off because one I should have caught the ball and she definately would have been out and two she wasn't even touching the plate when I picked up the ball and taged her. The umpire was being an ass hole so it didn't really help things. I hit the ball really good, that is the one positive thing I can say about how I played. At the end of the game the scored ended up 5-2 they won, of course, and I had given up three runs so really it should have been a tied ball game and we should have won that game so now our record is 0-6.

In other news I found out that I have a Kidney Infection so now I am stuck drinking water and Cranberry juice. Ugh... I hate drinking Cranberry juice. Its like one of those drinks you have to acquire the taste for and now that this is my 3rd time haveing a kidney infection I am starting to acquire the taste. So now I won't be able to drink soft drinks for a while. I have drank 4 bottles of water and one glass of cranberry juice today. It really sucks.
