Wants are a biochemical function of the brain, influenced and learned through socialization, value classification, heredity, and our general life experiences. We teach people to want. We teach the mind to have a will for objects, ideas, emotions, and experiences. Reoccurring pathways concerned with desire are etched into the way we think, the way we act. These actions are based on both positive and negative response to past situations. The way we behave runs congruent to these desires which have been rooted in value systems that our mind has painstakingly prioritized over the years.
