Something to make you think
For those of you who really know me, you would agree that I am not typically a political person. I tend to have an "ignorance is bliss" sort of attitude towards the whole thing. Normally. And that is exactly how I felt until a few days ago when there was a huge protest at PSU. I have to walk right by there everyday on my way home. I had no idea what was going on. There were several blocks closed off and police everywhere. A bit too much police for just a protest. At least I thought so. Turns out that the people were protesting police brutality and the 911 cover-up that is and has been taking place. I was given a dvd by one of the protesters. Most of the things on the dvd were rather disturbing. As I am sure that was their purpose. Some of it just seems like pure conspiracy theory. Naturally. And all the rest of it just seems to coincidental to be false. Needless to say it's been on my mind pretty much non-stop since I saw it. I am going to make a few copies and give them to a few people I know who may find them interesting. I have never been swayed to vote ever in my life until recently. I like things that make me think. I like things that make me see other sides of the story. Now I would also like to say that I am not one to spread politics. I really think it tends to be a personal matter. Like religion. Quite personal to most. But here are a few websites to check out. Just for some information that you are not going to find on the mainstream news circuts. I would also like to add here that I checked the newspaper the day after the protest and there was nothing about it in the paper. I was also told by a few of the protesters that it wasn't just Portland involved in the protest. It was all over the US. Did anyone hear about this or see any protesting going on? Cause I looked in the papers, not just in my state, and could find nothing. Coincidence? I really don't think so.

there are many other sites to check out if you want some information. I hate the fact that I am spreading this but it is always good to be informed. Information is powerful stuff. More people need this kind of information. Especially since it almost seems like it is being hidden from us. You have to search to find it. Just another coincidence I suppose.
