Today was one of those days that feels like it lasts a year.
Two people surprised me this afternoon, not the happy birthday SURPRISE type. But they said or did things that took me a little aback. I'm not used to that happening. Normally I just walk along bending and swaying and dodging and ducking--taking it all as it comes. Maybe my defenses are down. I'm not used to being caught off guard and having to step back and say woah did he just say what I think he said?
