the smile does all the talking
i just got back from connecticut. it was a great way to kick off my summer. i feel like describing every day (i have nothing better to do)
Saturday- left the house at 9:30. got to connecticut at 7. i didnt sleep the whole way up. searched for some food. found a subway. went to bed early.
Sunday- woke up rather early. watched Along Came Polly. mom left at 2. cousins arrived at 4 while i was napping. woke up and handed out hugs. ate a "cheese crisp" for dinner.
Monday- took tyler to the hospital for x-rays. hushed a crying lucas. at some ice cream with sammie in a cold cafeteria. tyler and paul got haircuts. sammie and i got slurpees (the girl had never been to a 711 before. i had to describe what a slurpee is to her). TRL (Total Rummikub Live) tournament started. chicken for dinner.
Tuesday- 9 to 5 at the mall. bought things (but not as much as sammie). pizza for dinner. yum-mee. TRL continues.
Wednesday- went to the zoo with joy, tyler, lucas, and sammie. rode the merry-go-round alone. Claire's for dinner. tyler went insane. cold stone for dessert. tyler went insane. paul got tipsy and blasted the yoga studio away with J-kwon. last night of TRL. sammie kicked our butts. i came in second.
Thursday- 12-4 at another mall. got some more things. sammie and i took connecticut by storm and showed them our dangerous sides. went to a park with joy and the boys. subway for dinner. joy gave me and sam a private yoga class. very cool. paul worked until midnight. then he came home and stole all my chewy bars.
Friday- slept late. picked tyler up from school. got bored. mom picked me up at 4. said my goodbyes. got caught in major traffic. the mcdonalds at the rest stop in connecticut has no dollar menu. stop in NJ at exit 5. slept at a very nice hampton inn.
Saturday- cracker barrell for breakfast. got home at 4. got reacquianted with my cats. got my report card. not so bad. my bathroom is clean! prezi sent my an ecard from her new email address.
i feel so out of the loop. and i want to hang out with everyone. very soon.
