One amazing entry
Hey everyone I apologize for being so lame with this journal and not having a real update in months.
I have a little time before I am going to go to bed so I felt it was only right to let everyone who actually still looks at my journal what I have been doing lately.
I made it through my very first week of college. So far, so good. Nothing to complain about yet. I am actually very happy with my professors and my classes. I have come to find out that Model despite its bad math department(not saying anything about Ket dawg or Ms. Allen because I loved them dearly) it really prepared me well for college life. Model I suppose is just naturally laid back and very quiet due to the small size and the affiliation to eastern. That is exactly the atmosphere of college. There is no one hounding you about getting stuff turned in, the teachers are real people that you can talk to and not be talked down to. I love everything about college......that is......so far.
My classes that I am taking are:
1. Math 095 (I am not dumb I promise, I was just too lazy to take the ACTs more than once. Which I had a math score of 17 and a composite of 22)
2. Math 095 Lab-that is where I take my tests and do class work for the math lecture class
3. Philosophy 110
4. GSO 100 - a required and lame orientation class
5. Principles of Animal Science
6 Principles of animal science lab
7. English 101
I got a job. I am working at soft shoe on the weekends so I can earn enough money so that I can move out on my own hopefully by next semester. Apartments really do not cost a whole lot!
That is basically my life. I am going to class 5 days of the week and I am working fridays, saturdays, and sundays. I really dont have much more time for anything now.
I am only seeing chris for a combined 1-2 hours throughout the week. It has been really hard on us both. The only time we see eachother is after I get off work on saturday and for a while on sunday. We are going to make it though. As soon as his truck is complete we should be back to somewhat normal despite classes and work.
I have homework that I need to be doing right now but I have had such a long day that I find it difficult to even have the energy to finish this paragraph. So, I think I am going to go to bed now. I have to wake up at 8:00 and be in town and parked most importantly by 10:10.
I love you all and I hope you appreciated this entry that sucked out the last bit of energy I had.
