When (drabble)
When it actually happened, it was almost an anti-climax. Not that there was no climaxing to be done; most of the long night it was quite the opposite. But when the morning came and Elijah opened his eyes and smiled at Dom, there was nothing different. No sudden revelation, no 'new glow of love', just the quiet contentment of a long-established couple who knew they were exactly where they were supposed to be.
