This is the coldest it's been in Seattle in over 20 years. The high temperature yesterday was only 18 degrees. Brr!

My Lavender plant loves Winter
We had a hard frost at night for the past week, and the only balcony plant that's still doing well is this lavender. It very nicely survived some nights in the teens!

Happy Tag
We had some nights of hard frost over the past week. I covered my balcony plants with some towels, but it'll take a little time for them to recover.
Back in late Jan, they still looked very healthy, and my geraniums were blooming! The cabbages and primroses were doing well, too. :)

Coloring
More coloring with Sharpies! I also used a gel pen for the stars and snowflakes.
Sorry that my coloring pics are a little blurry in spots sometimes.. the bright colors make my camera a little wonky!

Snow!
Yesterday we had measurable snow for the first time in 4 years! Just an inch or two, and most of it has melted, but it was very pretty while it lasted. I took a few pics yesterday, before it all disappeared. :)
I found this large snowman, and immediately thought of my lovely new friend heyurs, who loves snowdudes and snowy weather!♥

Sweet Box Bush
Right in front of the library there's some bushes that have the most fragrant little flowers. I'm not sure, but I think it's a Sweet Box bush. It's awesome to smell something so sweet in the middle of winter!
