These are totally gorgeous! Is been a while since i last heard them. Thank you. I adore his voice at all times but especially when he sings acoustically. I remember the first time I heard Aftermath with just Monty playing guitar on the Glamnation tour. It blew me away..

All the way through, I kept thinking: Man! I hope Belle sees this!!! I'm going to save that first video compilation. It's brilliant. I'll never forget the first time I'm heard him singing the piece from "Brigadoon." I couldn't believe it was humanly possible to have that kind of breath control. I'm scared to death that he'll ruin his gorgeous soft voice by doing so much belting ( ... )

The Hebrew clip is the first vid on youtube that I saw, after I became a fan of Adam. He totally blew me away, and it's been a favorite ever since.

Agreed, Adam's "Stay" is the best version.

I loved Paula's reacton when Adam hit the high note in "If I Can't Have You." She was just as blown away as I was. Oh yes, the good old days of Idol.

You'll see my comment to Belle and know I loved these.

I have every one of his American Idol performances is glorious hi-def. Each file is about 88 MB and includes introductions and judges' comments. Belle has them, too.

He has incredible, completely unique vocal chords. There's absolutely no one like him. And the phrasing and breath control are amazing.

I still feel anger occasionally that he didn't win on Idol. Kris Allen wasn't even in the same ball park. It was like Justin Bieber winning over Pavarotti. A travesty.

I'm glad you loved these vids. :)

I feel that way sometimes, too. It makes no sense that he didn't win. He was by far the best singer, miles above the rest. Just like Jennifer Hudson... and she got an Oscar.

I agree, there's no one like him. Not only does he have amazing vocals, but he sings with so much feeling. It's like he sings without boundaries, without anything holding him back. He knows how to build from the quiet moments of a song, to give it a rare and ethereal beauty.

Yeah, Jennifer got robbed, too. But she went on to have a fantastic career - no other Idol has won as Oscar - and Adam is very successful, too. I honestly think if he were on Idol today, he'd win. People are much more accepting of gays now than they were even a few years ago. But it's still Bible Belt middle America who make up so much of the viewing audience that who knows. I definitely believe they were the voters that chose Kris over Adam. But everyone knows who Adam is now and I'll bet 3/4 of Americans can't even remember Kris Allen's name. There is at least some justice in that.
