My TV Guide just came today and I saw that pic. Wish it'd been a little bigger, almost looks like it was cut in half lol but I love how it shows both boys looking almost brotherly :)
Though, God's trial of Sam hopefully coming to an end... I hope that doesn't mean with his death, or maybe "hopefully" could mean it'd stretch into the season 9 premiere? Eep. So many things could happen. I hope I'm just reading too much into this, but the "one hell of an hour" makes me hope that Sam won't be going to hell again :/
It does look cropped lol, but at least it's a good pic of the boys, and their hands are touching. :) Poor Sam and his bandaged wrist.....
It's just saying that hopefully the trials come to an end, and it makes sense that the last trial takes place during the finale. It sounds like whoever wrote this doesn't know any more than we do, so I wouldn't read too much into this, or the "one hell of an hour" thing. We'll just have to wait and see!

They did 23 episodes this year? Isn't it usually 22?
So we get the final trial, the angel tablet resolution, and (possibly) the closed gates in one episode? Is this episode two hours long, or something?

Last year, the CW decided to give some of their shows an extra ep. So, SPN had 23 eps last year, same thing this year.
