Hospital has a voice

that never sets,

singing her light to halls

that never dim,

like a sun eternal,

glued to a beautiful hill

Disease is a claw retracted,

a stream flowing backwards

until it disappears.

The morgue,

dusty and unused,

fades away.

Hospital does not tolerate

the loss of children,

and no one here

is a customer of darkness.

There is no past tense

in this house of hope.
