your dreams dragged by dead spirits
in a pool of sinking stars.

Auction your grief for pennies,
sold to the slow useless copper of lost lament,
Iron wings sink the butterfly.

Cooperation is a wing that’s clipped.
when the master flies, you crawl till you slip.
Wooden birds leak an unshed tear.
