Here's some pretty Orchids that I saw at the grocery store. I love the vivid colors and the pretty veins, which shows so nicely even on the backs of the petals. :)

Here's the daily questions...
28. National Tooth Fairy Day - did you get coins from the tooth fairy when you were young?
For one tooth under my pillow, I’d get 25 cents. I’ve read that now kids get $3 to $5 per tooth, and some get as much as $20!
29. It's a Leap Year - what will you do with your extra day? Do you know anyone born on the 29th of February?
It was just another day for me. I don’t know anyone born on this day.
1. The Welsh Saint David died in 589 and was canonised in the 12th century. Ever since then, he has been celebrated in Wales and by people of Welsh descent. Have you ever eaten Welsh cakes?
I’ve never had one. I’ve read that “these soft, tender cakes are a cross between a pancake and a baking powder biscuit, with elements of cookies and muffins thrown in for good measure.” Sounds delicious!
2. Dr Seuss was born today in 1904 - do you have a favourite book of his?
Horton Hears a Who. The famous line from that book is “And even though you can’t see them at all, a person’s a person, no matter how small” It’s about Horton the elephant saving Whoville, a tiny planet located on a speck of dust, from the animals that mock him.
3. Have you ever had a hearing test?
No.
4. British Pie Week starts today, so there are lots of opportunities to make a pie! What would be your favourite?
There’s so many delicious pies! Some favorites are pumpkin, apple, blueberry and other berry pies. As a kid I also liked tuna pot pie, which is tuna and vegetables in a creamy cheese sauce, in crispy pie pastry.
5. Rex Harrison was born on this day in 1908, have you ever seen his version of Dr Doolittle (1967), what about Eddie Murphy's (1998) or Robert Downey Jnr's (2020) version?
I have seen his 1967 version, but not the others.
