It's that time again! November NaBloPoMo! That means National Blog Posting Month. If you jump on the bandwagon, you are supposed to blog/post something to your journal every day of November. Every year I crochet three scarves for Christmas gifts. Yesterday, I was getting ready to ship them when I noticed that one wasn't long enough. I have no idea how that happened, because I always check the length when I finish a scarf. So, the first thing I had to do in order to fix this was to pull out the yarn that wove the ends together. This can be tricky because you sew the ends in different directions and you don't want to tug too hard on the stitches its connected to. Well, I managed to do it successfully, but couldn't find the right size crochet hook so I could finish making the scarf longer. I usually put my hooks in my crochet bag but it wasn't there. So now I'm waiting for new hooks to arrive from Amazon. Next time I make a scarf, hopefully I'll stay more focused and I won't make these mistakes again.
