Computer Update

My computer was dropped off at the repair shop on Saturday. I heard back on Monday that it will need a refurbished screen, and it’ll be a week or longer before I’ll get it back.

I’ve been feeling a bit depressed over not having my laptop, but I’ll try to be more active here on LJ.

You mentioned what it's going to cost to fix. Have you decided to do that rather than get a new one?

Yes, I decided to get it fixed instead of getting a new one. It still has a few years left in it, I’m hoping.

I'd hate not having mine too! I'm glad you have at least some way of getting online.

I have an old desktop that quit working. I need to take it in to be revived, since my brother doesn't want to fix it. I need to get the stuff off of that old hard drive mostly.

I miss it so much, but yeah, I’m grateful to have the app on my iPhone. I hope you’ll be able to get the stuff off of your old hard drive. I need to back up my computer, too.

That happened to me, only I stepped on my screen and broke it. It is hard to be without your laptop. Hopefully yours won't take too long to fix.

Oh, that's too bad. Mine slipped off my lap when I was sitting on the couch, and landed directly on the screen. Thanks! I'm happy to say that I just got my computer back. :D
