Any advice on how to cook white rice? I tried making minute rice, but the kernels are too dry and chewy. I bought some frozen rice, but the instructions say to heat it at a certain temperature for food safety reasons. I'm a cautious cook, and I don't like to make things unless I know I'm doing it right.
It seems like making white rice is waaaay too complicated. Can anyone give me advice on how to cook it properly, so it turns out soft and fluffy like it's supposed to? And can you recommend a particular brand or type of rice to use? There's so many choices, I have no idea what works best.
Can uncooked rice be put into soup and cooked until soft?
I've been having digestive issues, and this is one of the things I want to add to my diet. But first, I need to make it properly, so any help is very much appreciated!
