I like peace and quiet, too. My brother seems to enjoy having music playing ALL the time, and it's interesting how different we are in that regard.

I love Music but not too loud in the morning. My day starts with Music and Ends with Music, what I'm listening to depends on the mood.

When I was in uni, listening to music helped when I was doing my maths. But I need quiet when it came to other subjects!

I like a bit of silence, sometimes it's more relaxing to hear the sounds of the house than a loud lot of music blasting out, but some days I have to have music blaring.
