I just picked up the new TV Guide Magazine (Aug 7-20), and found this pic and little article on their "Best of Comic Con" page! I'll put it below the cut, because the article has some spoilers.
I've subscribed to People and Entertainment Weekly for that long, too. I love entertainment magazines. But it's not all light weight; I also read Business Week, Time, Newsweek and The Week. I subscribe to Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone, too. I have to subscribe to anything I want to read because none of the stores around here carry anything except hunting, fishing and body building magazines. Ughh!
MISSOURI! I thought we'd never see her again, I'd given up all hope. I wonder who else will make an appearance in this alternate universe. Pastor Jim, with his church full of weapons? Rufus, still one of my favorite recurring characters? Kevin Tran, perhaps still miserable but at least alive? Pamela the psychic (and would she still like to be the meat in a Winchester sandwich?)
So, they're still working on a spinoff, huh? Interesting that they've opted for the female perspective this time around. I look forward to seeing how it's received.
It's from this, short vid. Getty images calls it Supernatural Speed. :)
I'm so excited to see Missouri again! I've wanted her back on the show for ages!
. I wonder who else will make an appearance in this alternate universe.
I wonder about it, too... there's so many wonderful possibilities, like all the ones you've mentioned. Especially Rufus! I'd love to see Charlie, I miss her so much.
There's been a big push in the fandom for Wayward Daughters (now called Wayward Sisters), so it's wonderful that the show has decided to support this. I hope it does well!
I don't know if Missouri would still be able to keep Dean in check like she used to, as much as he's grown and with all he's been through, but it would be fantastic if she could! :D
You know, as soon as I posted this, I mentally smacked myself in the head for forgetting to mention Charlie. Don't know if Felicia Day would have time nowadays, being a new mom and all, but one can always hope.
Must admit, Wayward Sisters -- and I like the name change, it suggests a relation to the Winchesters, and they are family, really -- would go a ways towards counteracting the misogyny rep that fans have been complaining about since SPN's first season.
Ah yes, Charlie! I took a peek at Felicia's twitter, and it looks she's doing some work these days, so I hope she'd be able to fit in some time on SPN.
I like the name change, too... and yes, they are family. And having a focus on female characters is awesome.
Yes, Missouri!!! Such great news. Me too, I loved her spunk. She was supposed to come back on the show in the first season, but was too busy, so it's a special treat that she back again, after all these years. Let's hope that we'll see Rufus and Charlie again!
