SPN Christmas Drabble - Sam is his Present
I'm inspired by the Advent Drabble Challenge that some of you are doing! I haven't written anything in ages, so I won't be doing the challenge, but I'll try to post more drabbles (or poems) this month.
Sam is his Present
Dean tries to hide his disappointment when Mary texts that she needs more time. It’s Christmas, but mom is staying away. And Sam’s been gone for hours. Morning stretches into afternoon, but Sam’s still not back. Has the whole world abandoned him? Dean walks sadly to his bedroom, ready to tune out anything related to Christmas. Heart heavy, he puts on his ear phones, but a sound better than music reaches his ears. It’s the front door opening!
Dean tries to hide his happy tears, but he can’t. Sam’s brought Dean the present he wanted most! After Dean embraces his mom, he turns to thank Sam with a big hug. Mary’s here, and it's the best Christmas gift ever, but Sam is his present every day of the year!
