Once again, I'm not keeping up with the flist. I thought that I'd start catching up, but ever since watching ep 11.21, I've been feeling depressed. Usually, I'm excited about the end of the season and the finale, but since there's zero buzz about Sam, and he was pretty much wallpaper in the last ep, I don't know what to expect

Yep, it's taken a decidedly sidelining Sam turn. I'm not even a little bit excited about the finale, it all feels yawn-worthy. Here's a goofy Jared to make you smile :)

Thanks, hon. I'll send you an email. It's nice to hear your positive pov. I'd love to believe that he won't be sidelined again, and I agree that he's way too important for them to do that.. and yet, that's exactly what they did to him in the last ep, so....... all I can do is hope that things will turn around for Sam at the end of the season.

I wish I could help. I am sadly behind watching, unfortunately, only up to Lucifer getting out of the cage. But up until that point, the season seemed heavily geared for Sam and the importance of his role in sorting out The Darkness. I can see why a turn from this would seem so strange and upsetting for you :( and wouldn't seem to make sense story-wise, either. So hopefully the end of the season lives up to what it started for Sam *hugs you*

I hope you can catch up on the eps. Yes, it was heavily geared toward Sam at that point, and with the theme of faith, prayer, and hoping for an answer from God about the Darkness... for Sam's feelings to be ignored when God finally shows up, well... it doesn't make any sense. Thanks for understanding how I feel. Yes, lets hope that things will turn around at the end of the season. *hugs*

I'm falling a bit behind too, but I totally need to reply to your 11x21 post! Also, it just came to my mind that maybe 11x21 was Dean heavy-ish because in the last two eps he will fall under Amara's spell or something so this is the last chance to have non-zombie!Dean's pov. Meaning that we could then get Sam's pov in the last two eps because we definitely need to have it at some point. (I have seen no spoilers so this is total speculation.)

It's easy to fall behind! That's an interesting idea, but I think that there's still more of Dean's pov to come, because otherwise, there would be no brother moments for the rest of the season. You're right, we definitely need to have Sam's pov at some point. But since the writers didn't think that it mattered in 11.21, then I'm not sure that anything will change in the next two eps.
